March 2018 Newsletter

Marching through the year!

Oh my, we certainly have been working out our inner thighs on the wonderful sticky muddy terrain through February! Well done to everyone one of you who come out in all weathers to stay active and bring the sunny smiles! The snowdrops and daffodils are certainly brightening up our paths too. Let’s hope the snow doesn’t bury them too deep!

We have a full agenda this month to keep you out of mischief and away from the Chocolates, or whatever you have given up for Lent.

  • On the 18th March our Nordic Walking team will be taking part in the Reading Half Marathon. They have put in the paces to make sure they finish with smiles!
  • A few of our walks will be having a makeover this month so that we can boost numbers and give you a variety of workout walks and Adventure walks for all the paces.
  • Maria is back with us but minus poles at the moment; she is recovering slowly from her dislocated shoulder injury. She starts her Instructor training this month so please do show your support and wish her well.
Keep up to date with our group news and promotions on Facebook – its your page to catch up on your stories and photos enjoyed on your walks plus health tips, delicious recipes and inspirational achievement stories. Do engage and interact with us and share with your friends and family.
