This year really has been quite remarkable! Winter merged into spring then all of a sudden summer exploded on us! You step out in shorts then watch your legs go blue with cold or red with insect bites!
Something we hear a lot is how people are “stressed”. The walk to pound out the negative vibes. We have witness the rebirth of “calm woman from wild woman” during our sessions. This got us thinking about what more can we do to help you through the day, and reduce that volcanic eruption. Can we be that pressure pot and help alleviate the pressure. Janine loves to write and read, not just for down time, but to further her understanding of fitness, health and anxiety. We shall start a series of top tip blogs to help you and others embrace life’s chaos and learn to dance in the storm. Read about our Super Woman 11 Top Tips.
To celebrate how our fabulous members really engage with spirit of “exercise”, Janine has written a blog about to train for a challenge! We have our new October Challenge to entice you to enter. Plus there are two at Purbeck, the 16 and 27 milers! It’s not too late to start training for those. Read on!
An update on Maria; she has now had her shoulder operation and is slowly recovering. She may join us for a few walks at the end of June but it will be a while before she is allowed to use her poles.

Advance Notice: Our Saturday sessions will change in July and August as it is quieter. We shall have just one weekly session of two hours.

Please note: It may be necessary to cancel some of our least popular walks. We apologise for this but we would rather have a fun and focused diary to tantalise and inspire those who love Nordic Walking. Where possible we shall give at least a week’s notice.
